Genting Theme Parks are the central focus within this Malaysia mountain resort. Six distinct hotels dot the area in and around the parks, with First World Hotel housing the indoor theme park. With an indoor and outdoor park both packed with rides, and a mid-sized water park too, families and the young at heart have plenty to enjoy in addition to the resorts many other attractions. Offering a large shopping complex and several other key shopping areas, dozens of restaurants, two entertainment stages and much more to see and do, the resort is a popular spot for Malaysia vacations and a great way to beat the country’s tropical heat.

Genting Outdoor Theme Park

Located in a cool mountain backdrop, Genting Outdoor Theme Park is one of the most popular of the theme park triplex. Between thrilling rides, kids rides, family rides, and a host of attractions, a day is easy to pass away. The Pirate Ship, Space Shot, Flying Dragon and Corkscrew are the park’s top thrill rides. A little less hair-raising but equally fun are Go Kart and Bumper Car Rides. The park also offers game centers for bowling and archery and offers a movie theater. One of the top attractions for younger children and carousel enthusiasts is the double decker carousel, a two-tiered ride that includes a unique organ and steam engine. Each ride is tagged with the country of origin, which includes Germany, Italy, and Malaysia. Theme Park Passports as well as individual tickets are available. Vacation packages are another great way to save on family passes.

Sunway Lagoon is an amusement park in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. It was officially opened by the Prime Minister Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad on April 23, 1993. It features rides in both the water park and the adjacent dry park. In late 2008, new parks were added and minor improvements were made to the existing park. The park is home to the world's largest wave pool, measuring impressive 139,800 square feet (13,000 square meters), world’s largest man-made sandy surf beach, world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, Asia’s highest slingshot ride, Malaysia’s first interactive zoo and one of Asia’s longest flying fox trails. It has also been recognised as Asia’s Best Attraction by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) for four consecutive years (2007- 2010).

Legoland Malaysia is Malaysia's first international theme park that has opened in Nusajaya, Johor, Malaysia on September 15, 2012 with over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. It is the first Legoland theme park in Asia and sixth in the world upon its establishment.The official opening of Legoland Malaysia was made by Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, Sultan of Johor on September 22, 2012. It is the centrepiece of a 5,500,000 sq ft (510,000 m²) integrated complex in the Nusa Cemerlang industrial park, within theIskandar Malaysia economic region, consisting of a lifestyle retail centre, offices, hotels, service apartments and residential units.
